About Wpromote

Wpromote has been operating since 2001, the earliest founding year published by any agency in this category, with teams in Chicago, Los Angeles and New York and named clients including Samsung, Southwest Airlines, Peacock, Strava and Intuit QuickBooks. Its platform is Polaris IQ, which runs on its own product subdomain with a client login and claims 30+ integrated data sources.

Two facts shape who this is for. Clutch records a $250,000 minimum project size, the highest floor of any agency in this category, which removes it from consideration for every small business and most mid-market buyers. And Polaris IQ is a marketing intelligence and media mix product that predates the AI framing now applied to it, with the AI work itself listed as SEO and AI Search alongside six conventional service lines.

Our verdict

Wpromote is an established enterprise performance agency with the earliest founding year in this category, and for a large brand with a quarter of a million dollars per project it is a legitimate shortlist entry. It is not an AI purchase. Polaris IQ is analytics and media mix modeling with an AI label applied to it later, no model or vendor is named behind it, and AI search is one line among seven. The public record is thin for a firm of this size as well: three Clutch reviews cannot characterize a 200 plus person agency, no headquarters is designated on its own site, and it has been private equity backed since October 2022.

Pros

  • Operating since 2001, with named clients including Samsung, Southwest Airlines and Intuit QuickBooks
  • Polaris IQ is a working client-facing platform on its own subdomain, with the agency claiming 30+ integrated data sources

Cons

  • A $250,000 minimum project size recorded on Clutch is the highest floor in this category and rules out most buyers
  • Polaris IQ is a marketing intelligence and media mix platform that predates the AI framing applied to it, and no model or vendor is named
  • Three Clutch reviews cannot characterize an agency of this size, and no headquarters is designated on its own site
