About Tinuiti

Tinuiti runs commerce and Amazon, streaming, paid social, paid search, affiliate, creative, lifecycle and SEO work for consumer brands, and the company states 1,000+ employee owners and roughly $4 billion in digital media under management. Carter's, TOMS, DSW and Blue Apron are named among clients.

Its AI surface repays a close read. Bliss Point, the platform it leads with, came from the 2019 acquisition of Bliss Point Media and does marketing mix and incrementality measurement, a discipline that predates generative AI entirely. The rest is renaming: AI SEO as a service line, AdCopy AI as a feature. No generative AI product, named model or AI-attributed published result appears anywhere. It also markets itself as independent, which here means independent of an advertising holding company; New Mountain Capital has held a majority stake since December 2020.

Our verdict

If what you need is econometric measurement and media buying at scale, Tinuiti is a serious agency and Bliss Point is a real product. If what you came for is AI capability, this is the clearest example in the category of the thing that makes it hard to read: a platform acquired in 2019 doing econometrics, an AI label applied later, and a service line called AI SEO with no published method behind it. The independence claim needs unpacking too, since a private equity firm has held majority control since December 2020, and the Clutch score rests on a single review.

Pros

  • The agency states 1,000+ employee owners and roughly $4 billion in digital media under management
  • Bliss Point is a genuine measurement platform, with incrementality and media mix modeling at its core
  • Named consumer clients including Carter's, TOMS, DSW and Blue Apron

Cons

  • Bliss Point came from a 2019 acquisition and does econometrics; no generative AI product, named model or AI-attributed result is published
  • The independence it markets means independent of an advertising holding company, while a private equity firm has held majority control since December 2020
  • The Clutch score rests on a single review, and Clutch and DesignRush disagree fivefold on minimum project size
