About The Kiln

The Kiln builds GTM architecture: TAM mapping, lead enrichment, outbound automation, mid-funnel qualification, inbound account scoring and CRM transformation, mostly in Clay and Salesforce. Clay lists it at Elite Studio tier, and the client list includes Sendoso, NewStore, Kleiner Perkins, Browserbase, Hologram and Clay itself.

Two facts should shape a buyer's approach. A banner on the firm's own site states it was acquired by 2X, a B2B marketing services company backed by Recognize Partners and Insight Partners, announced on 6 January 2026; standalone team size is no longer published, and whether the Clay Elite tier survives the acquisition is unconfirmed. Second, Clay's directory shows $10,000 a month with a three-month minimum, the highest published entry price among Clay's top-tier partners, and no third-party review record was located to test delivery against it.

Our verdict

The work sits at the architecture end of this category and the credentials behind it are real: Clay lists The Kiln at Elite Studio tier, and Clay is itself a named client, which is a specific kind of reference. The complication is ownership of the firm. It was acquired by 2X in January 2026, stated in a banner on its own site, so a buyer is contracting with part of a larger B2B marketing services group rather than an independent studio, and what that changes about staffing, partner tiering or roadmap is not published anywhere. Price is the other filter: $10,000 a month with a three-month minimum is double the entry point of most of its peer group here, and we located no independent review record to test that price against. Worth a conversation if the budget is there and the acquisition is not a concern.

Pros

  • Clay Elite Studio tier, with Clay itself among the named clients
  • Scope is GTM architecture and CRM transformation rather than campaign execution
  • An entry price is on the record at $10,000 a month, where much of this category leaves cost entirely unstated

Cons

  • No longer independent: a banner on its own site states it was acquired by 2X in January 2026, and standalone team size is no longer published
  • Whether the Clay Elite Studio tier survives the acquisition is unconfirmed
  • A $10,000 monthly floor with a three-month minimum, double most of its peer group here
  • We located no third-party review record, so delivery cannot be checked against that price
