About Neoteric

Neoteric is a Gdansk firm with a second office in New York, and its Clutch service breakdown is 30% generative AI, 25% AI consulting and 25% AI development, one of the few records in this category where AI consulting is a named quarter of the work rather than an unpriced lead-in. It names GPT-4, Llama 3, LangChain and Pinecone in its stack, which is more disclosure than most firms here offer.

Its independent record is the largest in this category: 4.9 from 71 Clutch reviews plus 4.5 from two on DesignRush, at a $10,000 minimum and $50 to $99 per hour. Two things complicate it. A trusted-by strip displays Boeing, the World Bank, Nestle and Siemens as logos with no attributed case studies, while the named testimonials come from much smaller firms. And no source agrees on when the company started: its own about page implies roughly 2014, its homepage says AI consulting since 2017, and both directories say 2005.

Our verdict

Neoteric has the deepest verified review base in this category and an AI-heavy service mix to go with it, and at a $10,000 entry point with $50 to $99 hourly rates it is one of the more accessible ways to get a generative AI build started. The caution is about how the client roster is presented. Enterprise logos with nothing attached to them, alongside testimonials from much smaller companies, suggests the reference work and the logo wall are not the same thing, and a buyer should ask which of those names bought what. The service list also still runs through web, Node.js and vertical app development, so this is a software house with an AI practice rather than an AI firm.

Pros

  • 4.9 from 71 Clutch reviews, the largest independent review base in this category
  • Clutch records AI consulting at a quarter of the service mix, with generative AI at another 30%
  • Names its model and framework stack, and enters at a $10,000 minimum with $50 to $99 hourly rates

Cons

  • Enterprise logos including Boeing and the World Bank are displayed without attributed case studies, while the named testimonials come from much smaller firms
  • No source agrees on the founding year, with the company's own pages and both directories giving three different answers
  • The service list still runs through web, Node.js and vertical app development, so AI consulting sits inside a general software house
